What is it?
Screen designs are blueprints for the user interface (UI) of digital products or services.
They provide front and back-end developers with a definitive, pixel-perfect guide for what needs to be built; the structure and layout of the interface, visual design details like interaction styles, colours, typography, artwork and often copywriting.
Bunnyfoot usually produce our screen designs in Figma, though we will work in your preferred platform, Sketch, Axure etc.
When to use?
Screen designs are produced when all design decisions have been made, informed by user-centered design insight from expert review, card sorting, tree testing, prototyping, usability testing etc. They are usually created according to the principles dictated by a design system.
