What is an expert evaluation?
An expert evaluation is a professional assessment of a product or service’s user experience (UX) from a usability, accessibility and behavioural science perspective.
While usability testing directly observes users undertaking specific tasks, expert evaluations are conducted solely by our consultants who employ well-established user-centred design heuristics to assess a product or service with a focus on usability, accessibility, interaction design, visual design and the application of behavioural science principles.
Bunnyfoot’s expert evaluations also benefit from the application of insight gained from thousands of hours of usability testing across all sectors.
Our report will highlight the good experiences, identify, describe and prioritise issues and make best-practice recommendations.
Benchmarking and competitor benchmarking are similar exercises but provide benchmarking scores for tracking user experience over time.
When to conduct an expert evaluation?
When to use: Expert evaluations are recommended when a full or part assessment of a product or service is required in order to validate change and/or identify opportunities for improvement.
