UX students from Prince’s Trust scheme get support from Bunnyfoot training

WYK digital training team

A group of young people hoping to kick-start their careers in UX presented to a panel of Bunnyfoot consultants and Director, David Williams on March 10, 2023, as part of a Prince’s Trust funded scheme with WYK Digital.

Over the last few months, the group have been taking part in bi-weekly training sessions with Bunnyfoot to gain entry-level understanding of key aspects of User Experience Research, Design and Testing. These bespoke sessions also covered challenging topics such as quantitative analysis and reporting and the future of UX in an XR era.

Sessions brought the participants together with a range of Bunnyfoot consultants from seniors and specialists to our own new hires and more junior staff, meaning they could hear a variety of perspectives and ask questions.

“We have great hopes for these young people,” said David, “they have demonstrated today that they have what it takes to become excellent practitioners.” UX Consultant Rachel Booth, who led many of the training sessions with the group, added “Working with these individuals has been a brilliant experience, and I’ve loved getting to know them and supporting them with their skills development and employability.”

Bunnyfoot supported the WYK Digital team with a tailored set of 12 two-hour sessions that included workshop activities while also meeting neurodiverse and accessible needs within the group. At the conclusion, the cohort worked together to deliver agency-style project presentations, and Bunnyfoot provided insights aimed to increase employability and readiness for the workplace.
